Details continue to emerge regarding the murder of #ColtonMichaelKline on #halloween2023 by a pitbull type dog at the residence.
Colton was allegedly at his grandma’s house preparing to #trickortreat when the #pitbull fatally attacked him.
Witness statements follow the typical #pibble shock pattern. They are alleging that the #pit played with the preschooler many times prior to this and had never been aggressive before suddenly snapping.
This is a consistent, #predictable story:

Over and over and over again, the exact same story unfolds. The question is: will YOU as a parent learn this lesson by watching others? Or will you offer your child as a sacrifice, too?

So in addition to this being a predictable case with a relative owning a pitbull around a young boy, it is also a potential adoption case, too.
A reminder that we must unite to completely reform the #adoptionindustry across rescues, shelters, county pounds, individuals filed as 501c3, and private transactions.
At no point does a grandma have any business bringing a random pitbull into the home to be around a preschooler. And at no point should someone have made that happen for her.
Right now, the person who flipped that dog into their home is going to walk away without any consequences. Why is our system operating this way?
