With four innocent lives stolen by pitbulls the past week, it’s unbelievable that we have to balance time for each victim to ensure they aren’t shoved into the background.

#JonirusDavis, loving father and hardworking employee for his city, was on the back of a waste truck when #pitbulls attacked him. Nobody has any footage at this time to confirm what happened. The news decided to claim he fell off after being attacked, but that feels like #minimizing. We will stand on the victim’s side and keep in mind that the #pits chewed on him enough for authorities to see he was attacked. At any rate, his driver didn’t see the attack and ended up running over him when he was on the ground.

RIP Jonirus. Your life mattered and we won’t let you slide into the darkness after the rush of headlines.
