The stories repeat themselves, with the same horrific outcomes stemming from the same societal failures. Over and over again, until they’re all a blur. It’s unbelievable the way this pattern continues without much outcry at all.

These are decent people. Loving, innocent people. Yet their stories overlap each other as each day yields to more maulings. One after the other, without an end in sight.

Where is Justice for Theresa?

Much like Theresa Rhodes. She was a sister, a mom, a grandma…a friend and part of her community.

Theresa’s story was the “walking home in a rural town” scenario. She was minding her business when two off leash dogs fatally mauled her.

Police arrived on scene during the attack. The dogs were so vicious, police could not assist the victim. An officer shot at the dogs in desperation, hitting one. Both dogs ran away. The officers rushed to help Theresa, but she was gone. ☹️

Due to the severity of the attack, police alerted the community to be on guard against the missing dogs. The dogs were described as a blue pit and a brown pit mix.

The police did eventually find the dogs. They connected them to Antoinette Pirtle, who was then arrested and charged with a class D felony. Pirtle was released on a $5,000 bond.

And that’s it. That’s how it works in the U.S.A. You can own Bloodsport dogs. Set them free in your community. Allow them to literally eat a 61 year old unarmed woman alive. And then pop out on a $5,000 bond with no media follow up on what happens next.

Theresa’s story isn’t unique. She wasn’t the first victim and she won’t be the last. We need to stand together against this insanity. If we don’t, we will just keep adding to the long list of horrific endings.

The question is: will you do something about it or just wait for the headlines to fade away?
