It has taken time for the details to slowly be released about this pediatric fatality from April, 2024 and many of the relevant facts have been suppressed.

Today, we are introducing you to Shiraz Asirvadam. Shiraz was a year old when the babysitter’s dogs mauled him to death in the babysitter’s home. 🏠

Unlike other babysitting cases resulting in death, the babysitter is not being identified and photos of the dogs have not been released. We see this theme consistently when certain dogs are involved. It’s also a consistent problem in the overall dog mauling category. If this was a hot car death, a car seat death, Tylenol overdose or other accident, we would see the babysitter’s name and face everywhere.

According to the exhusband of the babysitter, she has 3-4 large, mixed breed dogs weighing 80-100+ pounds. They somehow “got out” of their pens and three of them attacked Shiraz.

Regardless of the clear coverup that remains highly suspicious, we are a dog bite page, period, and we stand against ALL dangerous dogs of any breed. We advocate for just penalties including prison time along with education and regulation. The BSL debate remains a chokehold for pitbull pushers to cause division. The fact is, these dogs ate a child and the owner was protected in the media and didn’t face jail time.

What we have instead is an innocent, helpless baby mauled by large dogs 🐕 in a home that was supposed to be a safe place. We have two parents who have just been gutted, who will never recover even as society moves on from this story. And we have our society, so fixated on protecting dangerous dogs and the sadistic owners that in an article about this baby’s death, here is what the news reported:

“She’s (the babysitter) a sweetheart. She means well, she’s taken care of kids down there forever without any kind of problems. I just hate it for her,’ the babysitter’s former husband said.” 😡

That level of sympathy for the perpetrator and not the victim is typically only seen with news on rape, molestation, and serial killers.

While the rest of society cries about these violent dogs and protects the perpetrator, we will remember the actual victim, the one who was randomly torn apart. The one who had no chance and no voice.

We will remember Shiraz.
