To all the child safety advocates messaging about this case of a toddler being displayed with an unsafe dog, we are aware and we do have it documented.

This is a reminder of why it’s important to focus on reforming and regulating the #rescue industry. 🎤This woman was able to buy an unsafe dog as a #rescuedog despite it displaying behavioral issues and despite her clearly not having an appropriate environment or skills to care for it. 🚩

In addition to calling for improved regulation of rescues/shelters, we also need to demand changes in #DFCS to ensure innocent children in these situations are protected from harm.

Every child deserves a safe home 🏠 and to be protected from a potential mauling incident. #speakupforthevoiceless
