Although it might seem unusual, after spending years in the bloodsport dog topic, we’ve discovered that MANY attacks go unreported. Not only for animals, but humans, too. Here we have a 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤 that was not reported. The mother self disclosed publicly.

Because of the pitbull mauling, a young child was left with severe, life threatening injuries. This underscores the fact that cases are not properly reported even when they are serious. The victim required multiple surgeries to graft his scalp and will need ongoing surgeries as as he grows.

The child’s mother has confirmed that this case was not reported by the media, leaving the public unaware of the extent of the attack. To date, we are unaware of any police reports, and the identity of the pitbull’s owner or the fate of the dog after the attack remains unknown.

This tragic event highlights a concerning trend: pitbull maulings of both humans and animals are underreported across the country. This lack of transparent reporting allows pitbull defenders to spread misleading narratives on social media, which can endanger more people and pets.

Moreover, the absence of accurate data on these incidents obscures an ongoing public health crisis, making it difficult for communities to implement effective safety measures.

Parents and pet owners must remain informed to make better decisions when it comes to pets, particularly in households with children 👦 and other animals 🐈.

Demanding proper reporting systems locally and federally is a vital grassroots 📣 step to stopping the daily bloodshed. Without accurate reporting, authorities and politicians will fail to address it.
