🚨 When Their Masks Drop 🚨
This one is a doozy. I encourage you to read through it all because it’s a solid example of the numerous consistent patterns in the bloodsport dog topic. We have a mom with young children. Cognitive challenges. And explosive violence.
This is what parents of children killed by dogs endure…not just the unimaginable grief of losing a baby, but relentless harassment and blame from bloodsport dog apologists online.
💔 If a parent shares a factual post about fatal dog attacks, this is typical of the responses they get:
➡️ “I hope your golden retrievers get their throats ripped out.”
➡️ “Hope you like looking at your dead baby.”
➡️ “Take accountability for being a failure as a parent.”
These are real comments, written by parents who claim to “love pits.”
This is not normal. This is not compassion.
It’s antisocial behavior, fueled by a culture that protects aggressive breeds and glorifies violence over human life.
For decades, lobby groups and kennel clubs have worked to romanticize bloodsport dogs while dismissing the victims as “bad owners.”
Now, that normalization has seeped into everyday social media discussions, where cruelty has become casual.
We cannot keep accepting this.
We cannot keep tolerating the glorification of fighting dogs and the dehumanization of victims.
We must demand stronger laws, cultural accountability, and respect for human life, especially the children who can’t defend themselves.
Let’s rebuild a society that values compassion, safety, and truth over denial and aggression.
Together, we can change this culture. 🕊️
