This post contains several common fallacies, but I only want to address two angles for brevity.
- Let’s go over the “one of God’s creatures” point.
When bloodsport owners attempt to attribute these dogs to God, they are breaking the third commandment. (Thou shalt not take the lord God’s name in vain.)
Most people wrongly think that commandment is about cursing only. It’s actually about exactly this scenario, where someone attempts to use God to justify, coverup, or promote something dysfunctional.
Bloodsport dogs are not God’s creatures. God did not create them. They are a manmade creation. And the men that made them were truly some of the most evil men on the face of this earth.
Bloodsport dogs exist today not because of God, but because of depraved, sociopathic, violent men who delighted in animals torturing each other for profit.
Within that community of bloodsport, studies show a higher rate of all serious sins. Violence against women, child abuse, animal abuse, substance abuse, and many criminal activities.
No, they are not God’s creatures. They are a leftover byproduct of violent genetic engineering with nowhere to go, being forced to continue breeding their unwanted traits in a society that makes their job a felony in all 50 states.
- Naive, inexperienced people buy into the current bloodsport propaganda quickly, similar to falling for a violent man or being sucked into a cult.
If you briefly explore the mostly faked out account posting her words, you’ll notice this user appears to have latched onto the #rescue industry quickly. They worked at a puppy store, which most people are already informed about and avoid, but she was so vulnerable, she got a job there and had to discover it. Now she appears to have fallen into the next fad.
Notice despite bragging about #Texas, her profile and a deep search on socials shows no other evidence of owning a bloodsport dog. This is a specific category in the topic.
Sometimes, I think it’s because they know what they have (think like how a mom in an abusive home is completely silent about the man). Other times, it could be sign the profile is fake, or the user is pretending to own a bloodsport dog for the narrative.
