I regularly receive some version of this so wanted to directly address it:
In actuality, broadly claiming that “any dog can bite” or “all dogs can kill kids” or “you can never trust any dog” is fearmongering.

It is fearmongering to lie to parents this way. Broad statements that use “always” “any” and “all” are often manipulative or inaccurate. And that’s what pit pushers use every day in their attempts to 1) normalize unpredictable, lethal violence and 2) suggest that dogs as a whole are a threat.

YOU are spreading misinformation when you try to tell parents every dog has the potential to fatally attack.
That’s false. Most dogs don’t have a predisposition to attack. And many of them even if they want to attack can’t cause severe or fatal harm.
Stop fearmongering. Dogs were bred over thousands and thousands of years to be our friendly companions and helpers. Millions of dogs around the world bring joy, love, and assistance to their families. Most breeds have ZERO human kills on record.
Dogs are supposed to bring goodness to our lives. Not tear apart our children in our own homes and yards. We refuse to buy into your propaganda against dogs.
